careful george! It's all a trick, on YOU! Somehow, mysteriously, all of that candy you get will disappear long before you are able to eat. This is really a large-scale conspiracy to legally have children work to collect sweets for their parents.
Keep an eye out for suspicious trips to the bathroom or kitchen while you and your dad are watching TV. I bet if you check his breath when he gets back, the smell of chocolate will be strong.
Oh George you are just the perfect baby elephant...and you really did not seem too upset with all the big ones around you at the watering hole. Nana was very impressed with your pictures. I am just now getting out the treats for the scary kids coming to our door in Port Sydney but nothing would make me happier than for me to open the door to a baby elephant. Have fun with mom and dad even if you are not too sure what it is all about. Next year George...just wait until next year and you will have the whole thing down to a science.

Hi George, I just got home from the cottage,(I have been working on your sleeping cabin), and Nana made me run upstairs to the computer to check out the George Gorge. Your costume is a winner! Remind your parents that elephants never forget and I am sure you will never forget the crazy things your parents make you do on Holoween! I should also point out that the elephant is a significant political symbol in the U.S.A and I'm sure your neighbours will think your Mom and Dad are trying to influence the upcoming vote! Hold out for something more than a cookie George!
