Last Saturday, we went to Natalie's graduation party (congrats!) and met Annika face to face for the first time since being challenged to a baby fight.
She looked pretty intimidating. But we moved on pretty quickly and, together, planted ourselves in the most inconvenient spot possible - the door to the deck. There was a step and Annika and I got wild and crazy by practicing going up and down said step for the next couple of hours. Good times.

Lots of babies in our neighbourhood. One of the local strays had a kitten and they're hanging around our place a lot so we get to see him plenty. Here's a pick of said kitty taking some sun on the step.

Lookin' good little buddy, it was great to talk to you today on the phone (even though the conversation consisted of me saying "Heyyyy George" a few times and you laughing at yourself because you farted in the tub....it was actually the most engaging conversation I've had all day).

I can hardly believe that you have been blogging for a year now George. And what pleasure it has given to all your family and friends in Canada as well as the states. It is the next best thing to having you close by.

good try with the mohawk haircut. our friends went the extra step and actually shaved their kid's hair into a mohawk...he's the coolest kid on the block. maybe next time george.
