Last weekend my Dad and I had a big day out. We started with a pancake and bacon breakfast at one of our favourite breakfast places and then we did some routine car maintenance (checked the tire pressure...I helped hold the caps!). After that we went for a big hike in Natural Bridge State Park. It was a gruelling uphill march, but at the end we got to see the 'Natural Bridge', a sandstone arch that towers above the Red River Gorge. Along the way we found all kinds of cool caves, sandstone rock features, spider webs and trees that I could sit on and stand up in. It was only 2 miles round trip, but for me and my still developing legs and foot morphology that is at least the equivalent of 20 regular miles. We took lots of breaks to check out the local scenery and Dad didn't carry me once. After this I think Mt. Kenya should be no problem.

Wow! Awesome pictures, George. Looks like a really cool place. Maybe you can take me and Nana "B" there sometime.
We'll be seeing you soon ...

I'm impressed George! And you've obviously mastered the art of waving. Sweet jacket.
