People all over the world, join in...start a gorge train

Hi gorgers,

What a good boy I must have been, because after getting to stay up late for Halloween the very next day the folks took me to the Kentucky Railroad Muesum to ride on the old Louisville to Nashville steam train! We didn't go to Nashville, but we rode it all the way to Boston....Boston, Kentucky.

As you know I love trains, especially anthropomorphic ones with faces that talk. Even though the KRM didn't have one of those, they did have this really cool steam engine.

This was our car...good 'ol 2554. Our motto on 2554 was "They can all go to hell except #2554!!!"

This is the conductor. I looked for Sir Top'mhat, but he was nowhere to be found.

I spent a lot of time looking out the window. As it turns out there isn't a lot more than that to do on trains.

After the train Mom, Dad and I toured the grounds and I ate a sandwich. After that we went to the store and purchased some new Thomases for my growing collection. A fitting end to a day on the L & N. Next year I want to go to the island of Sodor! That's the Mecca for amateur anthropomorphic talking train enthiusiasts such as myself.

Cheerio
