Norman Invasion

Hey gorgers,

A couple of weeks ago, a whole crew of people descended on my household in celebration of dear mother's birthday. Nana and Grampa Norman, Aunt Karen and Aunt Meredith all came for a visit.

We have been sans (that's French for without for all you non-Canucks out there) computer for a couple of weeks but we're getting this news item out on our new computer. Huzzah!

Anyhoo, here are a few pics, courtesy of Grampa.

We dressed alike several days in a row. Purely coincidence! Great minds and all that, I guess.

Other highlights included just doing my usual things but with a bigger audience. Hitting the park and playing with trains.

And, of course, I got a piece of cake on the big day. And, an apple juice box every day!

Anyway, a great time was had by all. I was sad when they had to leave but am looking forward to Christmas! Apparently Christmas is when someone named Santa will break into my house and I have to fight him off with my ninja powers and steal some toys as a reward. Or something like that...

Looks like you had a great time with your Aunties and your Nana and Grampy Al...I know they were there for your moms birthday but secretly I think they were there to play with you. I hope you enjoyed that sunny warm weather in the park because it is not sunny or warm at either of your Nana's houses...cold with snow but really great for sledding! We sent pictures to your Dad with Taleigh in your sleigh...but I knew you would share with her...soon you will be taking a ride in it yourself.
Love nana

George, in pic #3, are you passed out, or doing your best Pearl White as Pauline in Peril impersonation?

Yes, you definitely need to be honing your ninja skills for the upcoming holiday. Don't let your parents forget to put out some cookies and milk as a distraction for the old man. He's a sucker for these things, and while he is stuffing his face, you can easily take him down with just a few precision kicks.

I think your parents put picture #3 up just because they're giving you the option of becoming a plumber later on in life ('cause we know how much money plumbers make!). Guess they want us to start getting used to seeing 'the plumber's crack' type of pictures.
As far as the 'Norman invasion' goes, it's about time. After all, the last really good one was in 1066. Expect many more!
