The rumours of the Gorge's demise have been greatly exaggerated

Hellllllllooooooooo Gorgers!

Did you miss me? I've been pretty busy this past month getting used to my new place, but of course, how could I be the problem? The blame for the long delay between my last posting and today falls squarely on Mom and Dad who claim they have been too busy 'working' and 'taking care of me and my constant demands' to keep the gorge up to date. What slackers. Seriously, it's as if they work 24-7...24 minutes an hour, 7 hours a day!

Anyway, I've had lots of adventures since I last checked in. A few weeks ago Nana and Grampa Norman came to stay with us for a couple of weeks and we had all kinds of fun. We played in the backyard a lot in my new splash pool and on my new play structure. Gus the dog came with them which was cool. He is a Canadian dog, but he seemed to be able to talk to the American dogs in our neighbourhood without any sort of language barrier. Gus and I had lots of fun and he only stole my monkey once. We went to some neat places like the Shaker Village and the Woodford Reserve Bourbon Distillery (Grampa's favourite outing), but mostly we just went for walks and to the park so that I could scope out all the lovely ladies in the under two set. Seriously, the girl to boy ratio at the park is like 5 to 1. It's like shooting fish in a barel for a guy as handsome and suave as I.

Lots of new developments from yours truly...I am now up to 44 words if you count 'wow' and 'boo.' Why not? Those are words. Today Mom told me there are no more bottles. Apparently they have all been sent to the major banks as part of the 'bailout' but I'm not sure if I believe her. We'll see about this bottle thing. What's next? No more Thomas the Tank Engine? Not on my watch.

Anyway, that's all for now, but I will be back soon. I'll make sure Mom and Dad eek out a little time in their 'busy schedules' to type out my weekly updates. Adios.

George! We were beginning to worry that the Kentucky mafia had discovered your whereabouts and had you "taken care of." Glad to hear that you are ok, and doing well. Is it warmer in Lexington than Columbia? Lots of topless pics of you... or was that to impress the local female population? Chicks are suckers for a topless stud. =)

Hey George! Those sure are some great pictures of you. I wonder who took them?

OK. It was me, I admit it -- I like to brag, but I think the best part of all of the pictures were their subject matter. Hard to take a bad picture of such a cute guy (but, not impossible...)
