I've got a monkey on my back...

... and I like it. Okay, sorry for the obvious joke, gorgers, but it had to be said. I've enjoyed wearing my monkey backpack around. It doesn't fit much but looks stylish, if I do say so myself.

I'm calling it now... primate chic will be in for fall!

Here I am, taking a turn on my grounds. They're extensive, as you can see, so it takes me a while to examine all the trees, branches and birds... and chase the bunnies. I used to be afraid of them but no more! All cute and fluffy cotton-tail bunnies will tremble before me. Or hop quickly away from me.

I take to the grounds several times a day. I find the fresh air and sunshine does wonders for me. A few bug bites have been the only negative.

It's been ridiculously hot and humid here. Luckily, I have many tall trees to shade me.

I've become quite handy with using a spoon. Until I get bored, then it's my good old hands. That works fine for some things but yogurt, not so much.

Georege, your new home looks INCREDIBLE!!! Are you all moved in? Have your parents finally released your toys from their Guantánamo-style holding cells?

Annika misses you terribly. Tell your parents that we miss them!

Wow George you're such a trendsetter - I'm sure your Aunties will be out shopping for 'primate chic' soon. And how about those short shorts - last time I saw them on you they were capris. Did your Mum/Dad shrink them in 'the twins' or did you really sprout that much. Love the new house and especially your nice bright playroom - Grampa and I are really looking forward to playing there with you, be seeing you soon, love Nana

Look at that sprawling back yard! I think there's room for a pool back there George...

Á pool (albeit of the $20 plastic fill it yourself variety) is on the way

thanks for the web cam George...sorry to have missed the final performance of you saying and waving "goodbye"...it is all in the timing George!
Grampy Pete wants you to tell your parents to get a pool big enough for both you and him when he visits next month...you both can learn to swim together.
Grampy Pete also said your back yard is big enough for a horse...but rule is that first grandfather to visit you has to buy!
Love Nana D

Well, as 'first grandfather to visit', I'm not so sure about the horse thing. After all, you will need a stable to keep it in, and rings to ride it in, and jumps ... you get the picture. Perhaps 'second grandfather to visit' will need to get busy building things ...
