Horsin' around at the vet school open house

My index finger got a real workout pointing to all the animals we saw on Saturday at the open house at the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Here I am getting up close and personal with the Budweiser Clydesdales.

Movin' right along... next we checked out the dog show.

Finally, we hit the best part, the petting zoo. This first photo is a bit dark but it's me petting a little calf. And not really enjoying it.

The name George means farmer but after Saturday, I'm not so sure about that.

Well, George. It looks like you had a great day investigating the animal kingdom. I hope your parents told you that the Clydesdales perform a very important job -- pulling wagons full of BEER! I expect it'll be a few months before you find out what that means, though ...

Hi George...Looks like you had a great view of all the horses sitting on your Daddy's shoulders! They certainly are much bigger than Trotsky!
