We started our day by visiting the local farmer's market where we picked up our fresh produce, including my sweet potatoes. We also made a stop at the mall to pick a few things up. You'll notice I'm doing all the heavy lifting in both photos.
My mom prepared my sweet potatoes this afternoon and I tried it for my dinner. My parents weren't expecting much since it was my first try but I gobbled up my entire helping. The only time I made a face is when they gave me a spoonful of oatmeal after my sweet, sweet potatoes. That stuff is crap compared to that bright orange deliciousness. Luckily, my mom made lots so I'll be enjoying my new favourite food every day.
I'm also including another silly photo of me and dad. We were practicing being Zen.

We had a great Thanksgiving feast with your new cousin...she declined the meal!
Sorry our web cam with you and Taleigh was rather short...she was not too used to all the Deane noise but that will soon change! You sure looked silly upside down on the web cam...we all had a good laugh. Everyone has left now so house very quiet...wish you were here to liven up the place!
