That's how I roll

I must apologize because I've been horrible at updating the gorge recently. But I've been sort of busy and have lots to talk about!

First, an exciting new developmental milestone. I can now roll easily from my back to my front and I do it constantly. Every time my mom or dad puts me down on my back, I roll to my front. Of course, I don't always particularly enjoy being on my front, and rolling back is a whole other thing I haven't quite figured out yet, but I thought you might all be impressed by my new talent.

This week I also had a chance to talk to my great-grandma over the web cam. I tried to be extra cute and hope I impressed her!

I also started day care last week and am adjusting nicely. I have a new friend, Henry, who is ten days older than me. I think we're going to get along famously.

We've been enduring an extended heat wave down here with temperatures in the high 90s and 100s, so I've taken the opportunity to hang out indoors and eat and sleep a lot in an attempt to bulk up. And it's working. I gained eight ounces in the past week! I also taught myself how to hold my own bottle...with my feet! My parents continue to attempt to feed me cereal from a spoon and I get angrier and angrier each time they do it. I get even by swallowing as little as possible and getting as much as I can on my face, clothes, Bumbo etc.
