Greetings gorgers! I'm about to wrap up the Ottawa portion of my journey. Tomorrow we leave my Nana and Grampa's house and head back to Parry Sound for a week at the cottage.
I've had a great week in Ottawa and had a chance to do several exciting things, along with plenty of time just hanging out at home with family. Nana, Grampa, Daddy, Mommy and I went to the Renoir exhibit at the National Art Gallery. I slept through the whole thing... not a big Renoir fan.
We also all went to the farm run by Agriculture Canada and I had my first encounter with farm life. I saw horses, cows, pigs, sheep and goats, and had a wonderful time.
I met my Aunt Karen and Aunt Meredith for the first time and had lots of time to spend with them. We celebrated Meredith's birthday and I wore a special hat, made by Karen. I've also loved seeing my Nana and Grampa again and relaxing with them. I also got a chance to hear a song over the phone from my great-Nanny Minnie.
In other exciting news, mommy successfully renewed her work visa so she will be back in the U.S. and back at work soon!
Anyway, as they say, a picture tells a thousand words so I've posted some pictures of my time here for everyone to enjoy.
Starting tomorrow, I'll be in an Internet dead-zone so you'll be without George news for about a week. But take heart, gorgers, I'll be back soon with lots of pictures and blogs. Toodles.

Well, we're sorry to see you go George. I was hoping to get more hammock time with you, but I guess I'll have to wait until next year.
Enjoy the rest of your trip! We've really enjoyed having you (and your parents) for a visit.

I love the picture of your dad and George in a hammock. A great reminder of an even better trip. I can't wait to see you next week. The desk next to me is still empty.
