We're not in (the state next to) Kansas any more

Gorgers,

My apologies for my lengthy absence from the blogosphere. Much has changed, and I can only hope that amidst the chaos I will be able to continue these reports.

First, a truck appeared last week just after my morning bottle and men proceeded to exit said truck and to remove all of our stuff! Mom seemed unfazed so I played along.



Of course all of this wass after a long weird evening the night before when a bunch of people showed up to celebrate my Mom's birthday 3 and a 1/2 months early. Whatever. I just went with it.



What gets me is the lack of furniture and toys. Dad seemed unhappy with the sleeping arrangements.



I was equally unimpressed with the eating arrangements. If my buddy Enzo had not lent me this chair I would have been eating on the floor for days like a common farm animal. It was good of Enzo to help out a guy down on his luck.



As if all of this wasn't bad enough, the folks decide to pack me and all my stuff up in the car one day, drive for 9 hours and then proceed to feed me on the floor in yet another big empty house. I am still unsure of what their motives are. Perhaps we are fleeing the authorities. Who knows?



Things improved slightly a few days later when our stuff (or at least stuff that looks remarkably like our ould stuff used to look like) arrived.



The folks have been hard at work ever since and things have improved considerably in the last 48 hours. My toys arrived and I have been hard at play ever since. In case you are interested I have thouroughly re-tested all of the laws of physics and they are just as applicable in the new place as they were in the old one.



There will almost certainly be a period of adjustment, but I now have access to television and the sandwiches keep coming. I have even been reunited with my Bumbo chair. My parents insist that it is too small for a boy as big as myself, but I strongly disagree.
