Horsin' around at the vet school open house

My index finger got a real workout pointing to all the animals we saw on Saturday at the open house at the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Here I am getting up close and personal with the Budweiser Clydesdales.

Movin' right along... next we checked out the dog show.

Finally, we hit the best part, the petting zoo. This first photo is a bit dark but it's me petting a little calf. And not really enjoying it.

The name George means farmer but after Saturday, I'm not so sure about that.

Nana Norman, Trotsky and Me

Greetings gorgers! I'm just getting off a super week with my Nana Norman, one where she indulged my bossy, dictator-like tendencies, fed me new foods (strawberries, raspberries, black beans) and bought me as many socks as a boy could want... to pull right off. Clearly, I had a rockin' good time.

She spent plenty off time fattening me up and trying to get me to drink from a cup.

I even tried seafood. Make that 'see food.' Ha, ha, ha, ha!!

Waiting for my dinner...

Despite not feeling well for much of the week, she was a trooper and had me out quite often for walks.

And, of course, we spent some time at the park.

Here are some more pictures of the week that was.

Oh, what's that? You want to take a picture of me? Why I'm so flattered.

I love my horse. He's from Kentucky. His name is Trotsky.

Also, I have cute feet. That is all.

Happy Birthday Nana!

Greetings Gorgers,

A very special Happy Birthday goes out today to my Nana Deane! Here's a picture of Nana and I from last summer when I was a bit smaller. Recently I was lucky enough to spend a few days with Nana while my folks went to Kentucky or someplace, and we had lots of fun together. She took me for lots of morning walks and bought me a really cool dumptruck that sings and sings and sings...it sings so much that Dad often wonders a loud when it will stop singing. It sings that much! Anyway, I hope you have a great birthday Nana! Don't trip over the dog.

Love,

George

Walk Hard

Here it is gorgers...the first video evidence that I, George Peter, have advanced to bipedalism (sort of...I prefer my bipedalism in short bursts followed by vigorous quadrupedal bursts). Anyway, not only is this amazing video footage of my new skill, it also demonstrates that I can walk up walls! Walk to you later!

Happy birthday to a great Great-grandma!

Gorgers,

Yours truly would like to wish a very happy birthday to Great Grandma Deane! Here are a few pictures of some of the fun times she and I have spent together.

One of the reasons that Great Grandma and I get on so famously is that we both have a real appreciation for silly hats. Way to rock that ball cap Great Grandma!

A Gorge Oversight!

Gorgers,

As you know my life has been quite busy of late and I have barely had enough time to throw my own cherrios on the floor and to bang stuff agianst other stuff. All the same, that is no excuse for forgetting to give a birthday shout out to Funcle Braden who turned 38 or 17 (Dad won't tell me which one...he said it was a bit of both) on March 13th. Sorry Funcle Braden! Mom and Dad feel pretty bad as well because the card we sent you just got returned. We are confident next year will be much smoother.
