The electric slide

That's why the lady is a tramp

Merry Christmas Gorgers!

Season's Greetings Gorgers!

It's finally here! Christmas! The cadillac of holidays, and my first one at that. Although I was a little overwhelmed by all the gifts and the paper, I muscled through and now I am the proud owner of a whole new mess of really cool toys. Santa knew I was a good boy this year and he remembered to find me in Ottawa at my Nana and Grampa's house. Even though I have a pile of upper incisors coming in and I'm periodically fussy, things have been festive and cheery. Here's the photo evidence.

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem

A dental update for all you gorgers. My lower incisors are coming in nicely and I spend a lot of time making scary faces so I can show them off. If you look closely at the first picture below you can just see the very beginnings of my first upper central incisor. Having teeth on both the top and the bottom is going to change everything. Those cheerios can run, but they can't hide from my masticatory might!

Crawl Hard

It's official! I'm now crawling, although it's not a classic crawl but more of the army crawl. Still, I get around and that's the important thing. Here's the video evidence that demonstrates my technique.

Fun with a web cam

Here are some fun videos I thought you'd enjoy.

In this first one, a cute little trick I was planning to do goes awry. It probably has something to do with my top two teeth coming through.

Said trick goes a little bit better in this next one.

Finally, here's me laughing at my parents acting like primates.

They think I'm laughing at the noises they're making but really I just have to laugh at the fact that they're willing to act like idiots to make me giggle. I AM TRULY THE KING!

New skill alert!

Greetings! Now I don't just say it, I can show you that I can say hi and bye, too. That's right folks, I'm waving now! And not just at myself in the mirror, which I've been sort of doing for a while, but to other people now. Just this morning, there were a couple of deer in the backyard and I waved at them too!

Aren't I just a little sweetie?

I got some new clothes from my Nana. The snowsuit is a little wide on me, as you can see. Ha, ha.

This next one, I like to call Lil' Thug. You can tell I'm up to something since the hood's over my eyes but no one suspects a baby! (I'm also wearing my new fleece jogging suit, also from Nana. I'm going to be keeping nice and warm over Christmas, that's for sure.)
Sometimes I just get really sick of having all these pictures taken of me. I know I'm gorgeous. Enough already. (PS - I've tried yogurt and carrots for the first time recently and loved them both!)

Gettin' Toasted

For anyone with a strong desire to watch a two minute video of me eating toast for the first time, your wish has been granted.

Cheerio Gorgers!

Today, my Nana and Grampy Pete headed home to the great white north after a wonderful visit, which happened to include my first (American) Thanksgiving. While I couldn't partake in the turkey or stuffing, I did get a chance to try something new. Cheerios. Yummy. It's taking some time to learn to pick them up, put them in my mouth and chew and swallow. It's more complicated than you think, but I'm practicing.

Here are some photo highlights from my week with the grandparents. We went on lots of walks and I even got to go jogging (in the comfort of my stroller) with Grampy Pete.

A silly Thanksgiving Day pose.

I'm having a great time, as usual!

Santa Claus is coming to town

My uncle Braden does plenty of cool drawings and he's started making and selling t-shirts. Here's me in a onesie he made just for me.

My Nana and Grampy Pete arrived on Saturday. We've been having lots of fun and I've enjoyed showing off my skills of banging on things.

Sunday we went downtown and managed to catch Columbia's version of the Santa Claus parade. Here are some pictures of all the excitement.
I've never been to any other parades so I have nothing to compare this one too. This particular parade consisted mostly of junior high bands and local businesses tossing candy from vans.
We did see Miss Rocheport, although I don't know how hard it is to become a 'Miss Something' in a town of 200 people. Also, there was some excitement when some people in the parade ran around with office carts in a little routine. It's hard to explain, you know, you really had to be there. Some things you just have to see for yourself.

(CORRECTION: Apparently, I was seeing a book cart drill team. This is, apparently, a thing now. Check it out for yourself and I think you'll understand why my humble words couldn't do it justice.)
Me and Grampy Pete with a 'float' behind us. Like I said, much of the parade consisted of people driving in vans.
Mom, Dad and I at the parade. No pictures of me and the big guy himself, but I did see Santa and Mrs. Claus. They waved at me. I hope Santa brings me a pony.

Walking home from the parade.

Relaxing after a long day on the couch with Grampy Pete.
